Timo is one of the most talented Russian directors. Timo Zhalnin is the director of fiction and dance films, the director of the musical Master and Margarita (2014).
Timo’s short fiction film «F5» was presented at the Cannes Film Festival and won many prizes, including the main prize of the Kinotavr film festival.
Timo’s dance films — Black Square and AQUARIUS won numerous awards at international film festivals.
In the film festival competition «Kinotavr» 2018, the first feature fiction film by Timo Zhalnin — «Coupled» was presented. The film was awarded with the prizes “Best Fiction Film”, “Best Actor” of international festival “Man of Understanding the World”, 2018 (Russia), “Audience Award” of XII Festival “Sputnik over Poland” (Warsaw) , “The Best Actress” of XVI International Festival “Golden Autumn” (Blagoveshchensk).Timo Zhalnin is the winner of the “Best Emerging Talent” award of the Golden Unicorn award at Russian Film Week 2018 (London).

Ana began her studies of Ballet, Folk Dances, Jazz and Drama in Brazil. She received a first-class honours degree in “Choreography, Methodology and Pedagogy of Dance” from the St. Petersburg University of Human Sciences, Russia. Ana performed with the White Nights Ballet Theatre, Folk dance group Banzé, Performing Arts Company Lorenzo Fernandez, among others. She was awarded in different dance festivals as well as served on the judging committee of many others. She has published several articles on dance history and critique, and the translation of the book “Basic Principles of Classical Dance” by Vaganova. Ana is based in the UK. She is a freelance dancer and choreographer and serves as artistic director for Silver Dance company.
